Council authorized the signing of Amendment No. 5 to a financial agreement with the provincial government and regional county municipalities (RCMs). This amendment provides an additional $390,000 in funding and extends the agreement until March 31, 2026, to update flood zone mapping for several rivers in the region according to new provincial methodological standards.

The City is allocating an additional $33,844.59 to complete a flood risk study. This follows a request from the City's scientific committee and provincial ministries to revise and improve reports from previous stages of the project, which were not part of the original contract scope.
