CONSIDERING THAT the building is located in the Vieux-Aylmer heritage insertion sector, that the proposed work is subject to the Règlement sur le site du patrimoine d’Aylmer number 2100-97 and to the Règlement numéro 505-2005 relatif aux plans d’implantation et d’intégration architecturale, and that this work requires the approval of the municipal council;

CONSIDERING THAT the applicant plans to correct the deformation of the building's roof structure and replace the current covering, whose advanced state of deterioration is causing water infiltration, with a higher architectural quality material contributing to the preservation and enhancement of the building's heritage character;

CONSIDERING THAT the work complies with the provisions of the Règlement de zonage numéro 532-2020, and respects the applicable objectives and evaluation criteria of the Règlement numéro 505-2005 relatif aux plans d’implantation et d’intégration architecturale;

CONSEQUENTLY, this Committee recommends that the council approve, pursuant to the Règlement numéro 2100-97 sur le site du patrimoine d’Aylmer, exterior work at 10 Broad Street aimed at replacing the building's roof covering, as illustrated in the project analysis in the document entitled:
